For over 25 years ESI has met the ever-increasing demand for roller remolding. When we first started this process our only customers were major pipeline companies. Today, however, things have drastically changed. We now rebuild conveyor rollers, wheels and casters for numerous industries nationwide. Our procedure for stripping off the old material, preparing the shaft or rim and recasting the outer wear surface with tough, long lasting urethane compounds have pretty much stayed the same. With the addition of our in-house machine shop, part turn-around time is much faster than in days of old. What has changed however, is our volume level. Presently, more and more companies are discovering that we specialize in this unique process. A procedure which will save them both time and money.
At Elastomer specialties we take in projects where part production ranges from just a few pieces to several thousand. While a large segment of this business is renovation, we also custom cast new conveyor rollers, wheels and casters using the latest thermoset urethane materials.
Whatever your part usage, we have tough, durable formulations that will meet the most demanding requirements.
Size or hardness does not restrict us. At ESI we cast parts as small as 2 ounces and up to more than a thousand pounds. Many times we have to specialize our formulations in order to obtain the right material hardness. Some customers require parts as soft as Shore 30A while others need a special urethane casting in the Shore 70-80D range.
The next time you're thinking of discarding those old, used, worn out rollers and need to replace them with new ones, think again! Give Elastomer Specialties a call, or eMail us and let us see if we can rebuild your parts and save you money.
